The consortium has received a Letter of Agreement (LOA) from TenneT for the BalWin5 grid connection project, part of of TenneT's 2 GW program.

The agreement entails the production, transportation, installation, and testing of 525 kV HVDC power cables. The project scope encompasses both offshore and onshore cable systems, linking the offshore converter station in the German North Sea to a planned onshore converter stationfacility in Bremen, Germany.

It's important to note that the contract details are subject to further negotiations, with the final terms to be disclosed upon the official signing. The anticipated date for this formal contract signing is set for the fourth quarter of 2026.

This LOA builds upon the consortium's existing relationship with TenneT, after being awarded similar contracts for NordOst Link, BalWin 4, LanWin 1, and LanWin 5 in 2023.
